In a speed obby, your speed is your level: walk, run and jump to raise it, then break the gate it opens.
What is a speed obby?
An obby is an obstacle course. A speed obby, also called a +1 speed game, adds one rule: everything you do makes you faster. Each step raises a Speed number, that number sets how fast you run, and walls along the course break only once your Speed is high enough. You grind, you break through, you grind again, and the numbers climb into the millions.

Free obby games online, no Roblox needed
Most obby games live inside Roblox. Speed Obby is a free obby game online instead: open the page, press Play and you are on the course, with other runners around you. It works on computers, Chromebooks, tablets and phones, and your progress saves automatically while you're connected.
How to get faster
Your Speed grows from several sources at once, and the game lists every active multiplier above your Speed counter:
- Steps. Every step on the course adds Speed, multiplied by everything below.
- Trophies. Each stage you clear and bank adds 10% to every future step.
- Treadmills. Stand on a belt at base to train while you rest. Wood is free; Bronze, Silver and Gold unlock as you progress.
- Rebirth. After World 1, trade your Speed for a permanent ×1.5 on every gain, and stack more rebirths on top.
- The Shop. Gems buy Speed tiers from ×2 up to ×10 that last forever, Treadmill Turbo, and trails and auras that add a bonus while you wear them.
- Boosts. Speed Potions, the free boost and Speed Storms each double your gains for a while.
- Speed packs. Gems also buy an instant chunk of Speed, worth about 1, 5 or 25 minutes of running.
When you're faster than a room needs, set Max speed on the right of the screen to run at a pace you like. Your Speed keeps counting either way.
Gems, gifts and codes
Gems are earned only by playing: banked stages, a daily gift that gets bigger each day of a streak for up to a week, a playtime gift and a handful of codes. Every code and Shop price is on one page.
Speed Storms
Several times a week a Speed Storm doubles every gain for everyone online. The game counts down to the next one, and the Storm schedule shows the start times in your own time zone.
Climb the leaderboards
Server-checked Speed and banked trophies decide the leaderboards, so practice numbers and edited saves never count. Inside the game, gold, silver and bronze crowns float over the three fastest runners in your room.
